Services Offered

The purpose of forming this Association is to have a voluntary, independent, professional, apolitical, not-for-profit association of medical doctors (equal members). Other professionals can also join (affiliated members) from 2014 on. They are invited to participate in different interest groups.

The Association offers courses for doctors and nurses and serves as a premier platform for all resources on palliative care in Slovenia.

SPICT Uses

SPICT is currently being adopted and promoted on a national level as the main tool for systematic and objective identification of unmet palliative care needs. SPICT is currently being promoted through lectures, courses, publications and practical leaflet promotions. We aim to spread its use through all three levels of the health and social care system and include it in the national health and social care information system as eForm.
