The medical personnel of Department of Rheumatology, Clinical Immunology, Geriatrics and Internal Medicine is working on facilitating the recognition of patients in need of supportive and palliative treatment and the implementation od advance care planning in Poland.

SPICT Uses

The SPICT will be used as part of a doctoral thesis. The aim of the first part of the project is to translate the SPICT into the Polish language and validate the Polish version. The second part of the study is to implement the SPICT into daily clinical practice, to identify patients at risk of deteriorating and dying in the primary care setting.
