We started work on a translation of SPICT into German.
We are continuing to collaborate with colleagues in Austria and the UK to develop it as we are keen to use SPICT in our service.
Kaiserswerther Diakonie plans to implement an advance care planning (ACP) concept in Duesseldorf as a projekt in cooperation with the funding trust Wohlfahrtspflege NRW.
It is planned to use the SPICT-DE™ for training coordinators. So they are able to identify the vulnerable group of persons who would benfit from our ACP concept.
Our research team would like to use SPICT in general practice in Germany.
Our aim is to test it in daily routine for acceptability among GPs and their teams, and to evaluate the effects (e.g. medication, hospitalization, advance directives, referral to specialist palliative care.
